Lessen Your Troubles

As a survivor of childhood wounds, I don't just talk the talk. I've walked the walk. I know the power of resilience, the capacity to heal life’s challenges, and reclaim our true selves. Nothing is more important. In fact, I’ve made it my life’s work to usher others along their healing journeys, connecting them to their true selves and others. In fact, research supports a sense of connection to oneself and others is at the very heart of creating a happy, fulfilling, and successful life. Isolation carries more risk for illness and premature death than smoking. Connection is a promise of my work – healing past hurts to connect with your authentic self and others. Once this occurs, things can get better. We can be our best selves and achieve our goals.

What I know is that past hurts can still be directing your life today. It makes sense you would want to distance yourself from painful experiences. Even though you have moved forward in your life, carrying a distressed past can get heavy. You may think that you can go it alone and stay strong. You might believe it’s weakness to share your feelings for unclear benefits. You may think you should have been tougher and protected yourself. You may fear that one small leak might open the floodgates of emotion that won’t ever stop. But you know how sometimes everything seems unmanageable? How you have depression, anxiety, anger, guilt, shame, headaches, muscle pain, stomach problems, an autoimmune disease, an addiction, brain fog, and the list goes on? How sometimes you may have irrational reactions that embarrass yourself and hurt others? How you sometimes feel different, like you don’t fit in, broken and you can’t quite put your finger on why?
What I know is that there can be long term effects from childhood wounds, decades later in adulthood. Even though they happened long ago, they can still be directing your feelings, behavior and body today. But I also know that it's absolutely possible for you to take your power back now. You're not flawed, disordered, or crazy. You may have been affected, but you're not damaged, injured, or sick. You're capable of breaking through shame, self-blame, and insecurity; to feel safe and good again; to reclaim your true-self which was never tarnished; to have a fulfilling life with healthy relationships. You can harness the resilience you used to survive to help move forward. How do I know? Because I did it. I'm not special. If I can do it, you can too. You're not different.
Recovery from childhood wounds has brought me some of the most incredible anguish I've ever known. But confronting my past and fighting my demons head on has proved to be the most worthwhile thing I've ever done. It took will, strength, courage and great effort to work through my pain to get to the other side. My suffering has great meaning for me, as it’s helped me to assist others in their pain, ushering them to the other side. Pain isn’t the enemy. The enemy is fear. I believe in you. You have the strength and courage to defeat your fear and free yourself from it.
So what I do is empower people with childhood wounds like you. The benefits are having more: health, happiness, love, confidence, peace, and success. You are resilient. Inside of you lies a natural capacity to heal & thrive, which is one of your greatest strengths. Nothing that has ever happened to you can keep you from moving forward to live an excellent life. Like the phoenix rising from its ashes, you can still triumph over any challenge in your life and realize your dreams. It's never too late for anyone who truly wants it and is willing to try. You have mountain moving strength. Become empowered to lessen your troubles, be your authentic self, and feel good.
